Good morning once again, all you fellow political junkies. Put on a fresh pot of coffee, put the sticky buns in the oven, put a fresh battery in the remote control, and join us for the latest episode of the world's greatest daytime soap opera, "As the Democrats Bloviate." Yup, once again, it's that time...
Well, it was that or "The One Percenters".......LOL.
WOW...great.
Now you deserve a blue ribbon for supplying the "missing" information that I didn't have.
It was the report from that military guy...that I saw last night...but, sigh..did not read.
Ditto. Sorry but the rest of us Freepers are NOT interested in joining the pseudo "Conservatives" in their quest for political irreverence. Politics is the art of compromise. You pick your side and fight tooth and nail for views, accepting your defeats and your victories as they come. You do NOT throw a hissy fit and run for your room because 100% of what you want is not being done today. That is the behavior of spoiled brats with infantile minds, NOT mature adults. NOTHING in life is perfect. To try and demand political perfection in ANY Government is moronic.
C.G speaks for the DNC, IMO.
Ensign
I don't know, I heard he was spotted dining with a FReeper in a Burger King in Maryland. Sounds pretty damaging to me...... :-)
Nope, a lot of us gave it to Bill Clinton in our Pique over his tax increase by voting for Ross Perot. Hard lesson learned and one that should never be repeated.
~LOL~ good observation.
I guess it's better to be vicitimzed by a member of your own party than a member of the Dems? Raped is raped...regardless of who is doing the deed.
Here's an interesting article from the Christian Science Monitor, "The Triumph of the Redistributionist Left"....I think it's worth a read:

You're forgiven, even if I voted for George Bush the Elder and Bob Dole. :)
I told his aide (who called a month ago) that I really thought he should consider aspiring to higher office and to please pass it along.
That's a tough one for the party though - it has to make promises, or what sound like promises, in order to win votes.
I just watch and wonder, "Is this the BEST the GOP can do?" "Good job, party!" Lesser of two evils, it is.
Total number of electoral votes won by CP. ZERO. Total number of Offices held by CP members. ZERO. Total chance of the Constitutional Party ever being even remotely relevant to the American Political Process.
ZERO
Read this....maybe you'll understand why I refuse to play along any more. I've been a good girl, delivered the Pubbies into the majority...and waited semi-patiently for them to act like principled conservatives. Enough.

And the message they will get is, better get candidates that appeal to the moderates, because the conservatives will abandon us for the smallest slight, even if the candidate used to be a conservative icon.
FOFL!!
I'll bet her next link is Doug Thompson!
