I hope that you let his office know that so that he at least can try to get back on the right track.
"The American political system is like a gigantic Mexican Christmas fiesta. Each political party is a huge pinata -- a papier-mache donkey, for example. The donkey is filled with full employment, low interest rates, affordable housing, comprehensive medical benefits, a balanced budge and other goodies. The American voter is blindfolded and given a stick. The voter then swings the stick wildly in every direction, trying to hit a political candidate on the head and knock some sense into the silly bastard." - P.J. O'Rourke, "Parliament of Whores"

Santorum sure doesn't deserve my vote....and unless he does a full prostrate mea culpa in the middle of Grant Street in Pittsburgh.......he's not going to get it. You wouldn't vote for him even if he did do that

No, actually Santorum has ticked me off to the point that I just want him GONE...and tomorrow wouldn't be too soon. I'm voting for Casey.

We're going to have to get a few more crossovers to avoid a cloture vote. Right now it's only Nelson, correct?

Has Boxer spoken yet? There was an earlier report on ABC:
"Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) plans to stun the world when she announces how she is going to vote on Alito during a speech in Los Angeles"
I don't see her name on your list.
To: defconw
Yes but so far, we are still doing a better job of tolerating dissent.

If he truly repented....I would vote for him. He's too arrogant to admit he's EVER made a mistake.

Fine cost us a judge in the future. Thanks!

LOL. Ricky's vote won't amount to a hill of beans. That is a specious argument.

Hatch: "One senator even tried to pass off a parody as the real thing!"
Gee I wonder who that was...thinking...thinking...thinking...

I like how they took care of the Neveda Senator in the "Godfather II", maybe the should try the same thing with Sen Reid.

I think it is a good idea for we freepers to read comments like those on DU today....
because SOMETIMES...we start sounding a lot like that...and I have even been guilty of it...
Reading it over there...makes me ashamed of how "over the top" I have let myself get...because they sound SO ______ (fill in the blank)...I have too many to pick just one.
