McCain will be rendered a nonfactor beyond the primaries. He has to be nominated at the convention in order to be any "threat".

I sure hope so. It's amazing how the LSM is trying to push him and his RINO pal Rudy Guiliani as potential Republican candidates. They would shatter the party, but then they all know that.

Screw the media. The media by now has the credibility of a crooked lawyer and shady politician, in the eyes of the average voter.

I know a lot of Freepers don't like to hear this, but Jeb Bush is the absolute best candidate for President. If his last name wasn't Bush there would be no question and I find it hard to believe that "we're not a monarchy" theme would work while he's running against the Queen of Narnia.

Jeb Bush coupled with a solid younger but accomplished conservative (maybe an up and coming Lynn Swann, I know he has to win the governors race first) would be a dominating force. We also must be sure we continue the war and tax policies of George and McCain is too buddy buddy with the liberal Senators and Rudy is too liberal in the areas he needs to be conservative. The next President must not think raising taxes is ok,McCain and Rudy seem like tax raisers for sure.
