NEW YORK Kanye West, with a crown of thorns atop his head, poses as Jesus Christ on the cover of the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.
The outspoken rapper defends his brash attitude inside the magazine's pages, on newsstands Friday. He is also pictured posing as Muhammad Ali.

"If I was more complacent and I let things slide, my life would be easier, but you all wouldn't be as entertained," he says. "My misery is your pleasure."

The type of beat they use in rap now a days sounds like someone beating a pencil on a desktop over and over again with the same old mumbo jumbo they call rapping.

Thank You.This is the same guy who said he was from the streets--his parents are practically the Huckstables, a doctor and lawyer.
As far as Rap music goes, if you're a fan anyway, he's very talented...but I'm tired of lame wannabe political commentary from rappers and rockers who can't string more than a coherent sentence together.
Rolling Stone used to be a smart magazine, whether you liked the politics or not. And while the still have a good article here and there, the mag is more of a fossil to me than a consistently credible (liberal) news source. Next month they'll probably have another half-nude celebrity on the cover.

Just watching this again you have to see just how stupid Kanye west is. He can't talk and is studdering through everything he was saying. What an idiot! He has no brain!

My son got a year of free Rolling Stone for buying a new guitar. Every issue is so full of sh*t it's unbelievable. It's like Karl Marx bought a music magazine.

It's like Karl Marx bought a music magazine. To think I used to love that magazine back in the seventies.I can't stand the sight of them these days.I was bigger into Creem back then, until they went downhill. It wasn't the same without Lester Bangs and Legs McNeil. As far as Rolling Stone goes,it is one big commie rag.Maybe it always was,but in my younger days,I didn't really know any better.
