Today, President Bush welcomed Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to the Oval Office where the two discussed the relationship between the two countries, and made a joint statement to the press. Later in the day, President Bush welcomed 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup champion Tony Stewart to the South Lawn of the White House where they posed for a photo op with the Nextel Cup Champion team (and the winning Chevrolet !) He also met with West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin in the Oval Office, whose legislative proposals to improve mine safety have passed by the West Virginia Senate unanimously.

Today, the Senate Committee voted along party lines to send the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the Senate floor for confirmation.

Yesterday's speech at K State was Dubya at his best, and I wish more people other than the faithful could see just what a good man this President is.

When GWB talks about the Troops, his Wife, or the office he holds, he gets choked up, when he talks about Liberty, his vision for Peace, and his core beliefs, there isn't many in history with his determination and resolve.

When he talks to those who are sacrificing for this Country, or those who have given all, he is a man who speaks from the deepest part of his huge heart.

These are the traits of a great leader, and GWB will be remembered as a great leader
