The Minneapolis man accused of shooting to death the doorman at a popular northeast Minneapolis nightspot pleaded guilty today to second-degree intentional murder and was sentenced to 36 years in prison. Zachary Ourada, 27, killed Billy Walsh outside Nye's Polonaise Room, a supper club and lounge. He shot him four times in the back from close range after being tossed out of Nye's and pestering Walsh to get back in, according to the criminal charges filed soon after the killing in May.
Ourada's blood-alcohol content that evening was 0.23, more than double the legal definition of being intoxicated.
Ourada was believed to be the first Minnesota gun permit holder charged with murder since the state's 2003 permit-to-carry law took effect. The law allows any adult who takes training and passes a background check to get a permit to carry firearms in public.

So sorry,
Wrong thread.
it'll play big with a few pols like Amy Klobuchar or
Mike Hatch. someone may want to ask the kind prosecutor why her office never charged Vang for domestic abuse when they had the chance to do so prior to his killing spree.he would have been barred from owning a firearm and they could have further proven how great gun control works.
Well, I may just ask Amy about that....
Thanks for the suggestion!

Good luck with the veto override.
Thanks! I think we've got it in the bag. Doyle is over in the middle east right now, playing footsie with the REAL MEN in our state...our soldiers.
Did you read that he's been under a Grand Jury investigation for his "Travelgate" scandal? Wa-hoo! :)
Yep, saw that.
Heh, heh.
Hi-ho Steverino!
Snort, guffaw...
