New generation ponders debate

Princeton University student Christian Sahner yesterday stood next to a black and orange pro-life banner on the Mall, a striking symbol of what some say is a growing gap between the Roe v. Wade generation and today's young adults. "Our generation has grown up with abortion as a reality. It's become very personal to a lot of people," said Mr. Sahner, 21, one of about 40 pro-life students from Princeton who attended yesterday's 33rd annual March for Life in the District. "I think people are thinking about it, and the tide is changing to some extent." While Mr. Sahner and his classmates said they are still the minority on campus, the group yesterday joined thousands of teenagers and other college students from across the country -- many sporting backpacks and bootcut jeans -- to champion the pro-life cause.

I attended the Anti-Abortion rally in DC yesterday...someone pointed something out to me that I think is interesting
Due to Abortion, 40,000,000 or more members of my Generation have been wiped out. The irony, is that what the Liberals are figthing so hard to allow, if banned would actully end up giving the Liberals more votes (60% of Abortions are in the African American community, pre-dom liberal, and there are many more liberals who get abortions than Conservatives.
This is just a point, even if they could beliberal, they still deserve the RIGHTto live.

It would also give the liberals many more potential workers to tax with their stupid arcane redistribution of wealth schemes like Social Security and Medicare. Hell, they probably could create an entirely new entitlement by taxing babies who would have been aborted!

I know their pandering to the Feminists has lost them what they so long for! No matter what though, I will stand by life.

Everyone deserves the chance to become a conservative =)

My mother became pregnant while dating my father, they married and I was born in Oct 1971.. had this happened 2 years later... who knows if I would be alive today.

Abortion is infantacide, it is a greater plague on humanity than slavery, it must be stopped. The courts completely overstepped their bounds by taking this issue away from the legislatures and edicting down roe.

History will mark Roe V Wade along with Dredd Scott as some of the worst decisions ever made by the USSC.

I too was saved by being born in 1971, I was the consequence of their choice (to have premarital sex). Abortion is a lie from the pit of hell. I pray that more people in our generation will continue to stand up to this culture of death and say NO MORE!!
