To be honest, if Christ still walked the earth in human form, they would probably 'boycott' him too (or worse). After all, just think of some of the things Christ did! He healed on the Sabbath (goodness gracious!!!!), he ate with tax collectors (ANATHEMA I tell you!!!!), he embraced prostitutes (oh my gosh!!!!)...Not to mention turning water into wine and (gasp!) drinking wine!

I have to disagree. I think it was a mistake to cast an actor who is a homosexual activist in a lead role. Similarly, I think it was a mistake to cast James Brolin as Ronald Reagan. If an actor is closely associated with certain ideas, there is a point when no level of acting can blot out those ideas. I have known for sometime that Chad Allen is a gay activist. I simply can't imagine him playing a Christian. I also can't imagine Martin Sheen playing George Bush. Maybe my imagination is limited.

To minister to them, not to affirm their lifestyle.
To convict them of their sin, tell them to "go and sin no more", not to shake their hand and say, "I'm ok - you're ok - just as long as you feel good about yourself!"
