I'd bet anything that it was some SUV's fault.
A less philanthropic person would have been alive and well. Philanthropy is worse than chain smoking.

"Andrea Bronfman, the wife of well-known philanthropist Charles Bronfman and a committed philanthropist in her own right, died in New York on Monday. Bronfman reportedly succumbed to injuries she sustained when a car skidded off the road and struck her while she was enjoying a morning walk. She was 60."
Isn't this the woman who financed the hippie guru murderer's flight to Europe?
(Can't remember the criminal's name -- the one who was sprung on bail by Arlen Spector when he was practicing law and who put his hippie girl friend in a trunk and locked her in a storage closet in his apartment until the people downstairs complained because of the smell and leakage of body fluids. Holly somebody...) The criminal lived in Ireland and France for 20 years.
Searching google news, I couldn't find an article about this woman's death in any U.S. publication, strangely enough, only in Canadian and Israeli ones.
To drink alcohol is a sin. To provide the alcohol is an even bigger sin.
was she hit by a taxi? that is a big problem in NYC, the taxi drivers are all insane, they come from every country in the world you can imagine, and their driving practices are third world.
