I just want to know what Martin promised her to bail his arse out. I have no idea, but whatever he promised didn't last too long.

Consider it over. It's not going to change much from the current
picture which will see the Conservatives with +/- 125 seats vs the
Libs with +/-105 seats (Bloc with +/-50 seats, NDP with +/-30 seats)

Looks like the Conservatives will finish with at least 130-135 seats. The good people of Quebec powered them past a disappointing beginning in the Atlantic. They got stronger as the night wore on. The Liberals managed to get a number of their thugs, beginning with Paul Martin re-elected but what matters is they're finally out of power. And the West has secured its long denied voice in the halls of national power. Stephen Harper's Conservatives have achieved an amazing victory after starting out badly two years ago. This is a night to be savored. Congrats to Canadian Conservatives. YOU DID IT!!!

I know but the law was passed because we have 5 time zones and the release of numbers back east could affect HOW or IF voters bother to turn out in the West. It's a fairness issue. Obviously, it doesn't work.

NDP..Are they very liberal? The NDP are flaming socialists.

Its a little closer than we hoped but its still pretty good. The Conservatives now represent French as well as English Canada and they are a truly national party. Something the Liberals are not.
