Greaseman got fired after making the comment, on Martin Luther King Day, "if they shoot four more, do we get a week off?"
I thought Greaseman got fired for saying "no wonder they drag them behind pickups" to some comment from a black entertainer.
Regardless, the guy definitely got what he deserved.

Basically, Sirius doesn't want to pay Sterm a cool half bil so they are going to put him in a box. If his show bombs, they take the writeoff. If Stern violates the policy, they fire Stern and save the money, then take the writeoff.

That said. . .I hope he bombs by some measure on Sirius. . .if only eventually. . .they were so focused on Howard. . .they lost the number one. . .media outlet serving their more thoughtful customers. . .
Or maybe; being Left. . .they figured with Howard. . .it would not matter.

I drove over that bridge just 2 weeks after that crash. The gaurd rails hadn't yet been replaced, eerie feeling looking straight into the Potomac.

Does anybody over the mental age of 19 actually listen to this jerk?

I was in an airplane that was scheduled for the next take-off that day. It was horrible. I remember being very scared looking at the wings on OUR aircraft - they were complete ice, even after deicing. The most amazing site was: no, nada, zero taxicabs at the airport and people walking down Geo. Wash. Pkwy to Old Town, Alexandria in snow that was at least 10" deep. We had to call my husband's boss to come pick us up.
On our flight out the next morning, our daughter, who was 4 at the time, said in a loud voice, in a VERY quiet plane, "Mommy, are we going to go into the river, too?" The guy behind us immediately went into the bathroom and never came out the entire flight!
What a horrible disaster that day was, for everyone.

I just can't understand what the fascination is with him. He's a "one trick pony" and boring as hell. Once you've heard his bit, you've heard ALL his bits.

[ High-level executives of the satellite broadcaster are developing an internal standards-and-practices document that will set boundaries for Stern and other shock jocks, The Post has learned. ] Sirius has competition or they would not even considering this action.. "Somebody" has computed the audience loss not to speak of Sirius able radios NOT BEING PUT in the new cars of decent folks.. Somebody has computed that Sirius WILL BE A FAD not a long lived fad either, without this action..
HogTieing STERN.. LOL... makeing his move to Sirius look like the flight of the Moonbat.. LoL.. quite funny..

I've worked in syndicated radio for nearly 30 years, and I've been saying from day one that Stern would quickly burn out. Breaking and bending the rules was his whole schtick; without rules, he quickly becomes nothing more than a tiresome Tourette's victim.
I predicted that by the end of the first week, he'd be spouting the F-word continuously while spanking naked crack whores, and his audience would be yawning and tuning out. Sounds like I was right, and his bosses are really looking for some way not to censor him, but to give him some material. It's like I always say, nothing gets dull faster than the cutting edge.

Or maybe they/he realized that hearing that garbage every five seconds gets old, the beeps at least left something to the imagination.
I hope Stern's show bombs.

I hope Stern's show bombs. He could not be more deserving - despite his seeming 'otherwise' like a nice guy. The man has never moved beyond 'early anal stage'. . .which in turn dominates his adolescent if not totally sick. . . personality.
IMHO. .. OF course!. . .
(please. . no mail from Howard devotees. . .)

Really think these people have NO imagination which is why they must depend on Howard for their jollies or whatever. . .he certainly leaves nothing to imagine and I guess that is how the mindless like it.
