I hope someone can explain this one to me.

In the US ‘not withstanding’ means despite what this other law says this law says we will do this.

But I believe Canada’s Charter is equivalent to our Constitution, so I don’t get it.

Sadly, change the names in the 218 reasons to vote Torie in the appropriate locations to US DemonRats and US Conservatives and it's our past general election, our upcoming mid-term election and in the distance our general election.

1. There's a far better option for Canadians. A party with with

Re: item #13 on this list, the comment that child care $$ would be wasted on "beer and popcorn." (ouch, that's right up there with "let them eat cake").
