"Do Al Gore and other Democrats really want to keep the government from finding al Qaeda agents in the U.S.?"

That's silly. Of course they want to find them. They just don't want to kill them.

Ya see their plan is that when they do catch them they'll....

After a couple years of this 24/7/365 gubmint oversight al Qaeda will be so demoralized and just plain lazy, they won't have the will nor energy to kill anyone. However, they WILL get accustomed to sitting in various gubmint offices for hours on end - only to be told at 4:45 pm to 'come back tomorrow'.

It's really quite dastardly when you think about it.

Gore had a low gentlemen's C grade average as a undergraduate. (W too had a 'gentlemen's C as a undergraduate. He probably got into Harvard's B school on academic probation. However W applied himself and graduated got his Harvard MBA. I don't think that is a 'basket weaving' degree!)
Gore flunked out of divinity school
Gore had a D average in law school and never graduated (So far its never been explicitly stated that he was asked to leave!)
Gore claims and is attributed great intellectual interests, capacity and accomplishments.
However I see no actual evidence of that. His speeches have all the intellectual depth of someone running for high school or college student body president.
Gore may be the least intellectual capable and least academically prepared of the modern US Presidents, Vice Presidents & presidential wannabes !

aside
Haven't you noticed when the Left vehemently claim a negative characteristic about a conservative candidate. If one examines closely their candidate has been showing that those characteristics for decades. Of course the MSM is totally disinterested in pointing out that discrepancy !

If the Clinton administration wasn't too busy pimping for Exxon and their interests in the Caspian Sea area, maybe they would have been more interested in the info that Sudan was serving up on a silver platter. In 1995, Roger Tamraz sold Gore on his idea for a pipeline. If the White House and the NSC had spent less time worrying whether or not Exxon got its 5%, maybe 9/11 never would have happened.

How can he show his crazy face in public after a disgraceful episode like that?...............

I hope he continues to do so--- over, and over, and over again!

uh, they want us to lose the war over there... so I can only surmise that they would like us to not find the enemy as well.

It's unsettling to think Gore was only 538 votes away from being POTUS.

He got my vote for POS.

"The Father of The Internet vs. The Hildabeast vs. The Great Purple Heart."

Who do you think the lefty loons really want as their candidate? I've been to kos, du, and several other moonbat havens and really can't tell who they like or want? I know who they hate, but GWB isn't running and I'm not sure how they translate the hate they have for GWB into action for any candidate.

I really think that they have been so consumed by GWB hatred that there may not be enough passion left for a coherent campaign, regardless of the eventual candidate. It's easy to tell who they are against, but very tough to tell who {and what} they are for.

My guess is the alGore. The Hildabeast is too "pro-war" for them and Kerry is such a pathetic loser that even the left can't stomach the sight of him anymore. I know what you're thinking, isn't the alGore a pathetic loser too? And the answer is: of course. However, I still get the feeling that the adoration expressed on DU for the pathetic loser from TN is real, as is their disinterest in the pathetic loser from MA. Why that should be, I don't have a clue.

Interesting stuff. I didn't know that Gore did so poorly in law school. It certainly takes good intelligence and some hard work to get a Harvard MBA. I went to UCLA grad business school, and while it wasn't as tough as undegrad biochemistry at UCSD, it was rigorous academically and it was no piece of cake.

Me too. Our nation was 538 votes away from disaster. I try not to think about it.
