"Yup - clear signal that if Paris is nuked for the US to please lob a few for the Frogs. So much for his confidence in being able to contact any of their nuke subs. Do they have any? Ones with missiles?"

Four, as for 2006. Each carries 16 missiles, each missiles carried, IIRC, 4 warheads.

They lost their national testicles at Dien Bien Phu (from post #12)

Jacques nuclear weapons are like balls, just because you have them doesn't mean you'll use them.

If the Frogs had them at the time they would have used them at Dien Bien Phu.
They asked Ike at that time to use ours to aid them. Ike refused.
Dien Bien Phu fell and the French had to stop pretending to be relevant.
That incident was a major reason for France deciding to build their own nuclear umbrella.

Thank God the French didn't have Nukes.

Did anyone notice something about the comment? It actually played into stereotypes (though true) of french weakness. Think about it, he never mentioned that french troops will track down the terrorists across the globe and kill them if attacked, no he promised to lob a missle. Why? Because a missle is dependable and a french soldier is only dependable at planting shade trees.

Also, anyone catch the hypocrisy? This jackass attacks our policy of "Cowboy Foreign Policy" and our "Illegal War in Iraq" yet if someone takes out the eifell tower he is willing to wipe out major cities in the middle east without even consulting the all powerfull united nations or E.U.? I think such a statement exceeds cowboy foreign policy and certainly exceed the toll of regime change. Bunch of hypocrytical frogs.

Oh, great. What happens when the Muslims take over France? France already has more Muslims than Christians. And their Muslims seem rather inclined to terrorism, Wahhabism, and other branches of Islamofascism, and prone to support terrorists. We don't need yet another Muslim nuclear weapon.
