I'm not 'shooting the messenger'....just pointing out where you reside.

And I wasn't comparing KH & RR merely stating that Rollins is her Campaign Manager.

BTW KH wants very much to be FL's Conservative Republican Senator.....JEB and his wife (God bless them) want a rest from politics.

I'm sorry, but I'm not senile, I think I know where I live. I also know that the only folks that are "kind enough" to "point out where I reside" are ones that seem to have a chronic inability to deal with what has just been told to them.

I remember Rollins worked for the horrid ultra-RINO liberal Christie Todd Whitman of NJ. Unfortunately, not a very sound move for a Conservative.

I'm sure she very much wants to be the next Senator from Florida... she's wanted that for quite some time now. I've seen a lot of candidates who've wanted higher office desperately... some good, some bad. I want that Senate seat back in the GOP column, losing Connie Mack was a disaster for the state's influence in Washington. What I'm trying to tell you and the enthusiastic KH boosters is that she's not going to be able to pull it out. She's had a long time to try to make her case to the voters of Florida and it's not working. She hasn't even been able to expand support for herself in her own Congressional seat. It has to give one pause that in a seat that routinely gave mid-60s% votes to her GOP predecessor can't even rise above 55% for her (and one who has to spend a fortune to even get to THAT -- it's quite possible she could've even lost the seat had she not outspent her opponents by such a dramatic margin !).

We need to find a stronger candidate who is not in the toilet in the polls - Jeb should be the candidate (just like Bob Graham was when he came and yanked the seat out from under the troubled Paula Hawkins in '86). Absent Jeb, we need to persuade either Crist or Gallagher to drop out of the Governor's race, or how about Frank Brogan ? He was enormously popular and would make the contest instantly competitive. My point is, and what a lot of the diehard KH supporters refuse to accept, is that she isn't even a competitive candidate at this point ! If someone was polling that poorly in any either race, the party would redirect their resources to races that were competitive. I know you guys don't want to hear it, and it is a supreme disappointment to me given her yeoman work in the '00 election debacle, but she can't pull it out if the dynamics remain exactly the same. You'll have to make Nelson look like Satan in order to make it competitive, and that's not going to happen.
