I hope my nephew passes the board of review. It would be a very hard life lesson if he fails it. Waiting until the last minute to complete a crucial task and leaving no option to correct a problem is not a strategy for success. My Eagle Scout board of review signed off my certificate on April 12, 1972. I was 15 years old. Plenty of breathing room to address any deficiencies if that came up. I always counsel scouts seeking to be Eagle scouts to get it done early and leave room to solve problems that may arise.
