Well Communism did get designed first so maybe it is still supreme.
That still doesn't put any of those guys in the league with Ruckleshaus and Rachel Carson and the 90 million people they killed by banning DDT.
Well, if an official of the former Soviet empire said that National Socialism and Soviet communism aren't remotely similar, I guess we can lay that idea to rest.
Joe it is probably just one man opinion. I for one disagree with Kozachev. So you have now one vote "for".
"will strongly oppose any attempt to equate Communism to Nazism,"
Of course - this is an insult - the Nazis were pikers compared to the Russians - Russians were the REAL masters of Genocide.
National socialism has as much potential to perpetrate expansionism and genocide as communism. The Nazis tried to take over the world, and worse, tried to exterminate a whole demographic group of a particular system of beliefs (Jews and Judaism). Communism treated the same group brutally with both public propaganda and massacres.
Konstantin Kosachyov is a United Russia party member. Although Putin has been relatively pretty good compared to some of the old USSR leaders, his (and Kosachyov's) party tends to broadcast much toward national socialism now.
National socialism is no better or worse than communism. Both are downright ugly.
Nazi, PRC, and the USSR. What the oommon denominator between these three? Socialism.
Socialism, the greatest evil of the 20th century, and, considering the millions killed, arguably the greatest evil of all time.
As if I needed any other reason for despising the left and the dimocrats.
Change the red to orange and you've got Yushchenko's new campaign banners.
Nazism and Communism should NEVER be equated.
They should be distinguished, so future generations will compare and contrast their evil, and thus learn about both.
