Was Allen a grown man then or not? It was one year before he was Governor.Should we discount everything he did as Governor because it was so long ago? It was a long time ago,BUT IT WAS the last time we saw a glimpse in depth on how he feels about Life issues and the role of Government funding of abortions.

As Governor he issued an Executive Order forbidding state employee health insurance coverage of abortions.
As Governor he fought for four years and successfully championed Virginia's parental notification law. And he worked for it until the General Assembly got it right.
In the Senate he has consistently supported the ban on partial birth abortion.
