I thought I'd share Andrew Coyne's wonderful column a Freeper posted on our Canadian sister site on Paul Martin. Ill-starred tenure indeed. Its a career that's going to be remembered for its corruption, criminality, political betrayal, contempt for the Canadian people and other manifold abuses of Liberal rule. Its fitting to bid Martin goodbye and good riddance. It rare when good people on opposite sides of the political spectrum, Conservative John Crosbie and New Democrat Ed Broadbent have nothing good to say in praise of this man as Canada's leader. Its rare to find so unanimous a judgment of a man in public life. For the reasons Coyne lists in his column, come this Tuesday, Canadians will not shed tears over their Prime Minister's departure from office.

It will further be recorded that when called out on that last bit of filth, Mr. Martin claimed -- without flinching at the utter implausibility of what he was saying -- that he was just making a point about logistics.

Seems their liberals are trained by our Dimocrat party.

Just straightfaced lie to the camera and deny/qualify later. And just cross your fingers that the MSM picks it and repeats it often enough so that everyone thinks it is true.

And the Liberal campaign was offensive to other nationals watching from outside. The idea that a Canada as created in the image of the Liberals is morally superior and an example for the rest of the world to follow is as immoral as it gets. The self-righteous condemnation of a nation that rebuilt Europe after World War 2, that reshaped a militaristic Japan into a model of peace and democracy, that removed Saddam Hussein from office, and that will be called upon to deal with the situation in Iran when all else fails, is as disgraceful as it gets.
