Every time I see footage in Iran, every male has facial hair, if only a grubby mustasche. Is there some sort of, er, Freudian phenomenon at play here? I see the same thing in India, so I'm not trying to be clever. I know this sounds as if I'm off topic, but I really wonder if there is some sort of psychological element at play that the West might take note of.
