LOL! My friend was just recently adopted by a stray kitten, and she's having the same exact problem with her two dogs. They had to build in an enclosed area under the basement stairs and install a kitty door for the sake of all parties!

What do you think - maybe we can make this for the pinkos?

We have a baby gate in the second pantry door - cats can squeeze under but large Labrador cannot.

(I wonder when she's going to try to go OVER though - why do we train dogs in agility so that they will dive into culverts, and jump over gates and up onto tables?)

That Kitty Litter cake was perpetrated by Neal Boortz, our local talk radio host. He's been around since I was a kid - used to be on the old WRNG AM station in the 60s. I showed the recipe to my 17 year old daughter and grossed her out of existence . . . < g >

My middle son and I won a Cub Scout Dessert Contest with that recipe quite a few years ago.

All the adults were gagging and the kids licked the pan clean.
