No, sorry for the confusion! His father, a Viet Nam veteran, has come out to stand with us. Josh is continuing to improve, and recently has walked a few steps. He came very close to losing his leg, but so far, due to remarkable medical treatment, things look good. Mr. Sparling has been at Joshua's side as he recovers, and has helped distribute some of Josh's overflow of cards and gifts among other soldiers at WR.

Pinkos claim they have to stand out there to somehow impact the medical care of our soldiers. Nothing could be further from the truth, and it is a gross insult to the medical and support staff of these facilities. Our troops receive the best and most technologically advanced medical care, along with vastly increased veterans benefits approved under President Bush.

FYI - I don't know whether it's true or not, but I have heard recently that Mr. Sparling's employer let him go.

Thanks for the clarification....hopefully Josh will be able to join ya'll soon...that would be so wonderful...especially if they are able to save his leg...

You guys keep up the good work...there are a lot of us out here in flyover country that are with you in spirit!!

and lets not forget, in spite of the BRAC Commission's reccomnedation, Walter Reed Army Medical Center is going ahead with the planned 10 million,
yes that's a 10 with 7 zeroes, a 10 million dollar Physical Therapy Center.
