If we send our governor (MI) back to Canada where she belongs can we borrow Jeb for awhile to fix things up the way things used to be here when it was a red state not so long ago? Unemployment remains the highest in the nation.

The numbers can be deceptive, however, because they don't include the chronically unemployed who have dropped out of the job market, and many of the new jobs are low-paying and lack benefits, said Florida AFL-CIO spokesman Rich Templin.

Translation: I am not getting my cut because all the new jobs are non-union

Holding my breath to see if Scripts comes to Boca. Most of the town will be able to retire out of state when they sell off their homestead.

And this is in light of two consecutive hard years of hurricanes and job losses associated with it.

Scripps isn’t coming to PBC anytime soon. The Scripps folks said they are letting the PBC Commission decide, but actually there have been back door communications with Raleigh Durham, Orlando and the Atlanta area. High property taxes, environmental studies, high home prices, traffic,.. isn’t happening and the commission doesn’t want it there, never did. Some of the commissioners have been giving lip service and I know someone very well connected with the PBC commission and they snicker on how Jeb got all excited. They have actually been trying to waste Scripp's time and almost got them to pull the plug. It's just too politically risky to blatantly be against the project. 3 years and no deal yet, come on isn’t happening.
