Damage to the optic nerve can never be restored. Period.

A good rule of thumb, "When a person is healed of a non-curable condition with no explanation as to why...it is a miracle!"

Give God the Glory!

You may be right.

If I had a nickle for every time I heard someone from the medical establishment in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's say "There's no such thing as a true aphrodisiac" then I'd have one pretty freakin good sized pile of nickles.

Now, I just want a nickle for every time I hear "If you get one and it lasts for more than four hours you better put some ice on it and seek medical attention..."

I always take standard accepted theories with a grain (or even a pound) of salt. So shoot me.

Well, I didn't read anything that said she had damage to her optic nerve. In fact, the Doctors were never able to determine why or what caused her blindness.

In the interest of said "miracle", it might be fruitful to try and determine exactly what happened to cause her to regain her sight...just so we can have other such "miracles" in the future..
