desperate attempt to escape Brooklyn
Supreme Court yesterday using makeshift
knives.

January 20, 2006 -- Two Brooklyn toughs on trial in a horrifying torture, rape-and-murder case made a brazen escape attempt yesterday — lunging for court officers' guns and stabbing a lawyer in the neck as terrified jurors and spectators ran shrieking. "He's going for the gun!' officers shouted as Troy Hendrix, 22, vaulted over the defense table and co-defendant Kayson Pearson, 23, lunged backward toward the gallery.

Relatives of the victim sitting behind the men said the two exchanged winks before all hell broke loose. Court officers immediately flooded the room, tackling both men.

Pearson stabbed his lawyer, Mitchell Dinnerstein, under the chin with a concealed Plexiglas shank.

Bleeding profusely, Dinnerstein managed to knock Pearson to the floor, helping officers foil the escape.

Sgt. Tom Reilly said the men had hidden shanks in their underwear.

And while I know why in our current legal system this results in a mistrial......wouldn't it be just peachy if the trial would just continue with the same jury?

A guy in Bakersfield, CA is getting off scot free after drugging a 14 yr old girl and then raping her. He confessed to it, he signed the affidavits, he told LE officers he did it with his attorney present.

You want to know why?

She never said no. She's drugged, passed out, and this animal rapes her and because she's incapable of saying no, he goes free.

The really sad part here is that our spineless sops in Sacramento had a chance to fix the law and decided not to.

These two animals should just be taken out to a public square and made to strangle slowly on a noose.
