If you thought Hurricane Katrina was a once-in-a-lifetime fluke, think again. Concerned environmentalists say that unless the United States gets real about the threat of global warming, African Americans and other people of color can expect a repeat of disasters like Katrina.
“When you look at the trends and put them all together, it’s undisputable that the sea levels are rising,” says Ansje Miller, director of the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative (EJCC). “Warmer seas mean more intense hurricanes…. You’re going to have intense flooding like we have never seen before. Katrina is really the hurricane of the future.”

Wow...things are improving with these nut jobs...notice they left out "children" from their usual/ predictable doomsday scenario. It's almost always, "Women, minorities and CHILDREN."

Read Michael Chrighton's State of Fear. In it a terrorist group intent on showing the world global warming exists tries to break off huge chunks of Anarctica, cause flashfloods in Arizona, cause a hurricane to hit Miami, and a tsunami to hit California. It's a pretty cool somewhat anti-global warming book.

It's gotta be a scare tactic. Convince enough people their lives are in peril if living in a Gulf coast community. Then snap up all the property you can buy as people bug out.
What? Conspiracy?
Why its just as plausible as the story that blacks were disproportionally impacted by Katrina.
