I've always said that the best thing you can do with the Washington Post (or the New York Times) is line the bottom of the birdcage with it.

In her Sunday column, ombudsman Deborah Howell wrote that Abramoff "had made substantial campaign contributions to both major parties," prompting a wave of nasty reader postings on post.blog.
Proving once again that liberals are so delusional they can't handle the truth.

Speaking truth to cowards. Once again the Left demonstrates just how little separates their behavior from that of the Hitler Youth.

There were so many personal attacks that the newspaper's staff could not "keep the board clean, there was some pretty filthy stuff," and so the Post shut down comments on the blog,****************
It sounds as though they were bombarded by posts from the denizens of DU.

There are things that we said we would not allow, including personal attacks, the use of profanity and hate speech.Well that strips every last weapon from the arsenal of the left.

It's funny to watch libbies. They're like little insects. You poke their insect hill with a stick and they run around really fast and insane-like, and eventually settle down, and then you poke them again.

Yep, those DUers that the media takes so seriously. Is THIS really the group you want to be associated with MSM?

Kind of reminds me of the Enron scandal. Every time the left would connect a Republican to Ken Lay, they also ended up finding "guilty" Democrats in the process. The act of using Lay to bring down a Republican also could take out two or more Dems with the same charge. That's why the story dropped, the Dems decided to quit while they were behind.

Lemme guess. The DU-ers took the day off from their own board only to go trash the Washington Post board.

Be fore-warned.
My parrot was quite the conversationalist at one time. We had discourses on Economics, Social Duty, and even Spiritual discourse.
Then, in an attempt to save money, I used the free "Express" version of the POSt(caps intended) to line his cage.
Now, all he says is, "It's Bush's fault!"

At the center of a congressional bribery investigation, Abramoff gave money to Republicans while he had his clients donate to both parties, though mostly to Republicans. In her Sunday column, ombudsman Deborah Howell wrote that Abramoff "had made substantial campaign contributions to both major parties," prompting a wave of nasty reader postings on post.blog. What -- they were expecting the Washington Post to have its facts straight?
