WASHINGTON -- The long-awaited final report by Independent Counsel David Barrett, to be released today [Thursday], was severely censored by court order but not enough to sufficiently obscure its importance. As long forecast, it alleges serious corruption in the Clinton administration's Justice Department and Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The question is what was contained in 120 pages removed by the judges

Chuck Grassley could put the entire contents on his web site. Doubt he will, tho.

It was the NY and LA Times, WaPo, MSNBC, CNN, ABC/CBS/NBC and Katie Couric that squashed it.

I have sent an emailed and called my Senators and Rep every week for 3 weeks now about releasing this report.

Isn't there one representative with the gumption to read the missing pages into the Congressional Record....
It would be a great thing to have on the public interest channel...

Unfortunately the Barrett report will be our Fitzmas...:(
Can you say Barrettmas= bares nothing to convict or spoil the SHE-DEVIL prez run or touch bubba, a matter of fact the rats will also receive a FREE pass! Unlike the Abramoff scandal which has labeled the pubs CRIMINALS, and all because none of them are willing to defend themselves or accuse the rats of being in the Abramoff tub also! The rats and the mediaWHORES have done a excellent PR job pinning this scandal solely on the pubs...and it's working too!...:(

Mrs. Clinton has been very vocal in the days leading up to the release of this report. Can you say, deflection?

However, the judges have established an exception, or rather 535 exceptions, to the rule that nobody can see what has been redacted. Any member of Congress can read it merely by asking. Any such lawmaker, who believes American taxpayers should see the product of $23 million in expenditures, presumably could then publish the material without fear of legal sanction. But . . . an unredacted Barrett report is an opportunity to observe how the Internal Revenue Service decides when to prosecute, a place where Congress until now has feared to venture.
. . . which is a powerful argument for tax reform which would eliminate the IRS.

Is there at least one honest man/woman among them?

The question is what was contained in 120 pages removed by the judges It's been filed with John Kerry's bad conduct Navy discharge from 1972.
To: mewzilla
It's a good job for Tom Coburn - since the Republican leadership already hates him, he has nothing to lose by reading the redacted pages ont he floor of the Senate. ;)
