If you go to regnumcrucis you will see that Dan Darling is writing that someone, somewhere in the news is reporting al-Iraqi as killed, but he provides no links.

As Roggio points out, Newsday reports that the guy was invited to the jihadi party, but is not reported as missing (does anybody actually do such thing? 'My jihadi buddy Mustafa is missing, has anyone seen him?').

Short answer: Yes. But that's going to be seen more in the intel arena as opposed to news reporting.
