We all need a vacation now and again. I have only two questions: 1. The first question is serious: Who paid for this extravaganza?
I've posted that same question about Mother Sheehan a ton of times here...seems nobody can find the base financier...

I've posted that same question about Mother Sheehan a ton of times here...seems nobody can find the base financier...
It was reported recently that Mother Sheehan said something like [paraphrased]: "Now that Casey's [her son's] life insurance [of which she was presumably beneficiary] is about to run out, I [Mother Sheehan] may have to get a job ... ". It is a very sad commentary on the state of the woman's mental health that she would use her son's life insurance to showcase her own narcissism ... and left the impression that she is eager to find a "sponsor" so that she can continue her "good works".

Ol' Mizz Clinton, that ol' Mizz Clinton
She don't know nuthin', she don't say sumpin'
She just keeps clumpin' along
She don't plant cotton, she don't bake cookies
She won't buy pecans at our local Stuckey's
That ol' Mizz Clinton, she just keeps clumpin' along
You and me, we sweat and strain
Body all achin' an' racked with pain
Aid her village, pay that tax
Ask for a raise an' you get the axe
I gets weary and sick of tryin'
I watch her spendin' and hear her lyin'
But ol' Mizz Clinton, she keeps on clumpin' along
She keeps on clumpin' along
She just keeps clumpin' along

She is being touted as a likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2009.That suits me just fine, since I do not have the desire to put up with her antics!

The Tryall name is obscure. No one has connected it to any family name.
My guess is that it's a play on the word "trial." There were numerous purgings of the slave population about the time of its origin.

Do you think Hill spoke to the woman cleaning the bathroom? T, According to Peggy Noonan, she said she'd do that from now on...treat the lower class as if they're human.

The history of this Tryall plantation places it squarely in the period of extreme exploitation of African slave suffering.
I actually am a bit amazed that Hillary chose this kind of setting for a private ENJOYABLE get-away. How would a republican presidential candidate be viewed who chose to "refresh" at Eagle's Nest in the Alps, at Dachau in Munich, or at Wounded Knee?

It just galls me to know that she continues to receive Secret Service protection. Under the new law, SS protection will extend only 10 years after the President leaves office. Unfortunately, it only starts with Bush who will rally need it given the WOT.

"You there. What is that noise?"
"It's the tree frogs, maam"
"I don't like them. Have them killed."
"Killed, maam?"
"I gave you a command. Why are you still here? Someone fetch me a new servant. This one is defective".
