Hillary Clinton leaves Jamaica Holidayed at Tryall

Monday, April 19, 2004

FORMER US first lady, Hillary Rodham Clinton, left Jamaica yesterday after a one-week vacation at the exclusive Tryall Club in Hanover, highly placed sources confirmed.

Hotel officials declined to confirm or deny Rodham Clinton's stay at the property, but one knowledgeable source told the Observer: "She had a quiet, delightful and restful holiday. That was the way she wanted it."

According to Observer sources, between her aides, friends and Secret Service protectors Rodham Clinton's entourage occupied 40 rooms.

Her visit, like that of President George Bush's daughter, ??, was kept quiet for privacy and security reasons.

The wife of former president Bill Clinton, Rodham Clinton is now a member of the US Senate from New York, the first former first lady ever to be elected to the US legislature. She is being touted as a likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2009.

Rodham Clinton had planned to holiday at an old Jamaican plantation house after her Senate campaign in November 2000, but shelved the plan in the wake of the close, and controversial, presidential race between Bush and Bill Clinton's vice president Al Gore that was eventually decided by the US Supreme Court.

The US House of Plantations

Plantations had owners and those who were owned. The US House has those who own it and those who are owned.

Unfortunately, Hypocrite Hillary (Tryall Plantation) missed the mark. It is not Republicans who own it and Democrats who are owned. (When one thinks about it, that is a bit of an insulting view of her fellow democrats. Is she saying that they have no CAJONES…that the democrats are timid little wallflowers or are those who allow themselves to be doormats?)

Despite her slur of her fellow democrats, let’s talk about who really owns the House and who are the owned.

Please, you conspiracy theorists over there…sit down. This is not a diatribe about Big Oil, Big Trial Lawyers, Big Media, etc.

Right now the House is owned by Big Capitulation and BigTimeCompromise, and the one kept in chains is “Big Ideas.”

Do we really pay these people to solve things like foreign oil dependence, social security insolvency, tax code incomprehensibility, budget busting, defeat of foreign enemies, and other serious issues?

If so, then it must be true that BigIdeas is in chains in some hidden cell in Congress in Washington, DC.

Want to see REAL Plantation style Politics. Look at the modern Welfare system Hillary champions. It keeps people on a subsidence level FOREVER while doing NOTHING to promote self reliance in order to keep a certain % of the Urban populations voters enslaved to the Democrat machine. Smash that Political plantation systems and the Democrat party is a national party no more.

The Clinton revised judicial oath: "I solemnly swear to tell the truth as I know it, the whole truth as I believe it to be, and nothing but what I think you need to know."

... between her aides, friends and Secret Service protectors Rodham Clinton's entourage occupied 40 rooms.

We all need a vacation now and again. I have only two questions:

1.   The first question is serious:   Who paid for this extravaganza?

2.   The second question is just idle curiosity:   Was one of these rooms made available for her husband?

40 rooms

You reckon "Ms. Plantation 2006" had a maid or two at Jamaican minimum wage cleaning up her 40 rooms worth of mess?

Why, such opulence probably hadn't been seen since...since....plantation days.

the truth as I believe it to be

Just what was the MLK Day courageous senator thinking that she just "had" to have 40 rooms in an old slave-based sugar plantation?

The democratic party was the party of slavery.

Probably just a bit of nostalgia on her part.

"...eventually decided by the US Supreme Court." Again, the "selected, not elected" bit. Geez!

Tryall is located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, approximately twelve miles west of Montego Bay on the northern coast of the Island of Jamaica. The Plantation consists of 2,200 acres of land, which had been owned by one family for over a century http://www.tryallclub.com/web.asp?history

Clinton's entourage occupied 40 rooms !!

Don't forget round trip airfare (which I highly doubt was coach class)and food. Add the taxi fares, the cost of the service staff, long distance phone charges, etc...

If the money didn't come out of her Vacation Savings Fund, then someone else paid for it.

We will see an unparallelled spending orgy to surpass all others ... if and when she gets her hands on Air Force One!

Yeah, she's doing a lot for the state of New York, isn't she?? /sarc

I pray NY'ers can realize now, if they couldn't see it before, that this woman is a disgrace to them and to hold the seat of the late Patrick Moynihan (which she was GIVEN without hardly any contest).

She had a dream... of sipping mai tais while impoverished Jamaicans waited upon her and her entourage. What a slap in the face of Dr. King's memory.

Tryall plantation goes back at least to the mid 1700's along with Tryall fort.

Slavery wasn't abolished in Jamaica until about 1838.

In the Tryall origins phase, over 90% of the population was in slavery.
