Prayers up. Any update on his condition?
Get well soon Buddy!
My prayers for TomServo!
Prayers for you and yours, Tom.
I lift Tom up to the God who made him - may he please be made whole, in Jesus name...
I got it from a dog bite. Within several days, it was obviously infected although I had been to the hospital to have it cleaned out and was already on antibiotics. It was obviously infected. The wound started oozing pus and my arm swelled up so much it looked like a blown-up balloon. Then the redness started travelling up my arm on the 4th day at about an inch an hour. That's when I knew I was in big trouble and had to set aside my fear of needles and hospitals.
So what happened? Use FR mail if its too graphic. Gal I know at a local store let a smallcut go and she lost her middle finger from staph infection cause she didnt getit taken care of.
I was immediately admitted to the hospital through the emergency room (well, if you call waiting for 3 hours when the progress up my arm was an inch an hour!) and placed in a single room because of the infection. They had to take the stitches out and cleaned it out again with soap and water and then an anti-bacterial solution. I just remember that they stuffed it with some kind of gauze and then came to look at it when I was eating breakfast the next morning. I personally don't recommend having pus-covered strips of gauzy material removed from your arm while eating! The surgeon gave me a 50% chance of it clearing without surgery. They put me on 2 million daily units of IV penicillin. I stayed in for three days, until it looked like it was going to go away without surgery. Thankfully, it did! Then I had to stay on the IV for a week or so after I returned home. It happened during the week that OJ killed his wife and her friend. I watched the Bronco chase from my hospital room pretty much doped up from the pain medication. Thankfully, though, I fully recovered. My prayers for our fellow freeper!
Tom's in my prayers...
May The Holy Spirit shine on him and heal him.
prayers sent up!
Thanks, prayers up for Tom and his family for a quick and uneventful recovery.
Holysmokes. The buddy of mine who got his from a softball injury (slid into 3rd and scraped his knee!) was in the hospital for a week with it. He is fully recovered now and back to work, a very physical job. Prayers for TomServo for a full recovery.
TomServo is in my prayers. Thanks for the ping.
Prayers for a rapid and complete recovery.
Prayers up.
The Lord be with Tom Servo.
Prayers on the way.
Two years ago I had spontaneous epidural abscess on the spine, I was on an IV for six weeks, 24/7 ~ I know what he's going through.
