Yonkers, NY: Today, Republican U.S. Senate candidate John Spencer called on Senator Clinton to do the honorable thing and apologize for her racially divisive comments.
"Senator Clinton's race baiting by comparing the U.S. Congress to a plantation exploits those who suffered under slavery and it trivializes the brutality of a dark period in American history." Said Spencer, "People make mistakes, and when they do, honest people quickly recognize it and apologize. For Senator Clinton not to apologize over 48 hours later can only lead voters to think she really meant and stands by these racially divisive remarks. This is very sad that Senator Clinton stubbornly refuses to make amends and apologize. She should do it in writing and on the Senate floor."
"This is not the first time that Senator Clinton has slandered the Republican Party with racial attacks. To compare the U.S. Congress to slave holding plantation owners is despicable. Senator Clinton must apologize today."
Mayor John Spencer, 59, served as Mayor of the City of Yonkers from 1996 until 2004. Yonkers is the fourth largest city in New York and saw great prosperity, redevelopment and environmental cleanup under the leadership of Mayor Spencer. To learn more please visit www.joinspencer.com
That killed her candidacy. We can play that all day long. Playing the racecard on the day that represents racial healing...She's toast. The lyingangrylesbocommie is done.
Apologize, Hell! Republicans should be doing what democrats do whenever a republican screws up--demand resignation!
Yup. Look what they did to Trent Lott.
Clintons never apologize -- they send out minorities to defend them - case in point Obama's comments today.
BTTT
Of course, the reality is that he did, and the reality is that her statement regarding the house is asinine, inflammatory and clearly pandering to the Al Sharptons of the world.
That's putting the brown lump in her pocket John! Go get her!
Hillary should be forced to resign, just like Trent Lott. :D
King's dream was blacks and whites standing together as Americans. Hillary Clinton's dream is to divide Americans along racial lines so that she can exploit the tension for political gain. She is a disgrace.
I'm so livid about Mayor Nagan (sp?) in New Orleans, I could spit. ALL THE MONEY, TIME, EFFORTS, & PRAYERS FROM "OTHERS," PROBABLY AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR HIM TO ACCEPT. I SAY PULL OUT OF "THE CHOCOLATE" FACTORY! and leave him with "his people." What a total, HARD, slap in the face to all like myself who don't believe in differences in people because of the color of one's skin.
This time there is a backlash and she is stunned. She is going to wait and see if it blows over like it always has before.
Absolutely, she should apologize, but she won't need to. The media will drop her disgusting racist statement from their collective memory, and those whom she insulted with her remark, the Black community, won't bite the hand that they believe feeds them.
I heard a quote today where she said she stands by her remarks, that things are being run by a plantation........this bitch should be forced to resign along with that racist nagin.
Nagin is an idiot and he at least (for all its worth) apologized. Hillary is a vindictive conniving person who does everything for a reason and will do it again and again.
..haven't you heard? It's no longer Nawlin's..it's Chocolate City...his words not mine
(((PING))))
To me, Nagan's comments were more cutting, and a deep stab in the heart of all the equality evolution we have worked so hard to achieve.
Hitlery is just Ted Kennedy in a black suit with a bit more of a waistline.
Great part is...all this race baiting and racism crap is by the last generation of TOTAL looser that have tried to destroy this country...Baby boomers.
Hilderbeast and Rev Con-man Jackson/Sharpton and all their ilk will some day be gone and 90% of it will stop.
