If I knew how to post a link to a picture of a rabbit with a pancake on its head, I would.
I will not be surprised if this thread gets pulled soon. You are determined to derail it.
No, I'm pointing out something that many people won't admit -- but that was common wisdom among Christians for centuries. Rejecting the Messiah - whether you're Jewish, Gentile or Moslem -- has consequences for the way you think.
It depends on the organization. If you are a liberal fund-raising organization like the ADL, it's very tempting, because it's a good way to raise funds from a liberal constituency.
The more they play to their donors' fears, the more money pours in. Simple.
Do you think Rabbi Lapin has lost its way morally? At one time you professed admiration for him.
Are Orthodox Jews just as equally immoral as liberal, non-observant Jews, simply because they don't hold the same religious beliefs as you do?
No, sir. This thread is about Why Some Jewish Organizations Promote Hate Between Jew and Christian.
This thread is not about whether Jesus was the Messiah. We might as well debate how many angels can dance on the head of a pin if you want to debate whether Jesus was the Messiah.
And it goes on to say that the reason is that these "Jewish Organizations" are opposed to God's Law as revealed in the Torah. In the modern age - it is Christianity that is the vessel for God's Law as revealed in the Torah; this is appropriate, because God - in Christ - founded Christianity.
Sound like terrible people. Probably shouldn't be allowed to live among decent folks. What do you say to putting them in ghettos until you figure out a Final Solution?
No, I believe in freedom, including freedom of religion. It's Foxman who wants to stop Christians from operating in the public square. Read his speech, which Rabbi Lappin aludes to. It's scary.
Foxman is scary. If he makes one of two more speeches it will certainly be the end of Christianity in America.
Nice to know that you support Freedom of Religion for the soulless damned Jews. Still, come on, admit you would support their freedom even more if you could spot them more easily. Maybe something on their clothing.
False assumptions lead to false conclusions. Or false convictions, as it were.
Obviously not. But he's as much of a bigot as David Duke. As for your trying to insinuate I'm a bigot, I'm just pointing out the truth: Most Jews are very, very liberal on the so-called "social issues", a fact that, in my opinion, puts them, on those issues, in opposition to God's law as revealed in the Torah. Most Jews agree with Barbara Boxer on abortion, not with Rabbi Lapin. As someone who believes that Jesus was God and the Messiah of the Jews, I believe that a consequence of not accepting Him as Messiah is a disengagement from the Torah Law that Jesus, as God, instituted. It's too bad that most Jews seem to reject some big moral basics - like abortion is evil - but it's true, and telling the truth (however un-PC it is to tell it) doesn't make me what you're implying I am.
Which of my assumptions is false? That Jesus is the Messiah? That most Jews agree with Barbara Boxer on abortion, not with Rabbi Lapin? That the Torah condemns abortion? That Jesus - as God - wrote the Torah?
I knew from the title it was about Foxman. Take the plural off the title, he's the little goon that pulls this stuff.
So we're all soulless lost heathens and enemies of God.
Does God want such evil to exist?
So what do you do with such people?
What is a righteous person like you to do in the face of such evil? Or is what you do on FR the answer and God's work?
No, all humans have souls. As for who's going to heaven, that's God's business. Whether I am or not, or you are or not, is up to God.
What I believe is that God revealed himself to us in Jesus Christ. And it's Jesus's atoning sacrifice that will allow any of us to meet God in heaven.
As for support of abortion and homosexuality being at odds with God's word, do you disagree? Are you saying that the Torah accepts homosexuality?
So it's OK with you if I continue to live and let God judge me.
Thank you kind sir, I'm grateful for your charity.
