1. No I mean on account of it being a mental illness which is comorbid with a slew of mental disorders including depression and risk of suicide. The people who care about someone are often harmed emotionaly by suicidal behavior, as well as finding out, for instance that a loved one has through stupidity contracted a deadly illness.
2. I'm suggesting that homosexual attraction is not love in any sense it's a pathology of self love, and acting out of dozens of fetishes. Child molestors insist they are in love, it's BS. Homosexuals insist they're in love and it's BS. That's why gay marriage even as a legal arrangement is naive.
3. DSM up until it's most recent incarnation properly listed same sex attraction as a mental disorder. Looked at as a mental disorder one suddenly sees the patterns it shares with similar sexual disorders such as attraction to teens or children, and sado masichism for instance.
"Homosexuals insist they're in love and it's BS. "
Seems only a homo would know that.
Yeah, I might become depressed and suicidal too if people like you kept breathing down my neck and calling me immoral, mentally ill, and generally wrong in every conceivable way. Moreover, homosexual sex may carry a higher risk of deadly disease, but only a "risk," and not a "certainty." No sex is 100% safe.

Christians insist they're in love love and it's BS. Homeschoolers insist they're in love and it's BS. Firemen insist ...
Like many anti-gay arguments, this one jumps all over the board - and incorrect at every turn. Seriously, would you like to have your love for someone demeaned, and told it's not really love, but a "pathology of self-love (whatever that is)?
As uncomfortable as I occasionally may be with gay culture being pushed in my face, I'm even more uncomfortable when gays have their very humanity questioned - because the questioner thinks they're "icky."

Why "properly"? That same sex attraction is a disease may be self-evident to some, but not to me. Unusual? Statistically, yes. Of course. But a "disorder"? Not unless someone EXPLAINS to me why. You haven't.
