FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(SAN DIEGO) Republican Congressional Candidate, Howard Kaloogian (website: www.KaloogianForCongress.com) has demonstrated the growing strength of his campaign, collecting more than $170,000 in total contributions as of the filing deadline for the Year End 2005 election cycle.
Kaloogian, who is running in the 50th Congressional District to replace former Congressman Duke Cunningham, raised over $142,000 of that money in the final three months of the year with the lions share of that raised in December 2005 when fundraising exploded.
Our campaign fundraising has been taking off as Ive gained support from conservative and Republican leaders in San Diego and throughout the nation as people get frustrated with the politics as usual mentality that has become the rule in Washington, said Kaloogian.
In the past three months over 100 prominent conservative and Republican organizations and leaders from around the nation have come forward to announce their support for Kaloogians campaign. More than 1,100 individuals have made a financial contribution to Kaloogians campaign as of the end-of-the-year report, so the campaign now enjoys over $150,000 cash-on-hand.
I am excited about the huge momentum we have built in our campaign to take on and defeat the liberal Democrat candidate for this congressional seat. Im also proud to be funding our campaign with contributions from individual citizens who support my conservative agenda and desire to make changes in Washington. This is in contrast to some campaigns that can only be self-funded in what seems to be an attempt to purchase a congressional seat, said Kaloogian.

Ummmm, no... I do, however, have some who look to me for advice on how to vote (in the 50th district).
"And why should I deed MY property to anyone?"
OK, you're not willing to put up, and you seem to be congenitally incapable of shutting up.
I used the idea to give you an opportunity to put your money where your mouth is, and you punted.
"Umm ...why the need to hurl accusations at me?"
Because you're kvetching about others engaged in carpetbagging while engaging in it yourself.
I merely showed your hypocrisy to the world.
I pointed out some reported facts about Bilbray. If you think that is "bashing", so be it.
And... I have never bashed Bush, ever!
If you are going to try to taint me or others on this thread, please provide proof of your allegations (with links).
You're inserting yourself into someone else's Congressional district, just like like what you dislike when Bilbray does it.
It's fun to point out others' hypocrisy. That's all I'm doing.
Bill Morrow will very likely get my vote in the primary. My family's supporting him as well. He's an ex-Marine (JAG at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside).
I've not liked Bilbray since he was on the San Diego city council in the late 80's/early 90's. There's just too much of a huckster aura about him. I like him less since Issa endorsed him. While I appreciate the effort he made for the Recall Davis campaign, Congressman Issa's an ass.
In my opinion he's not. And unlike some on this topic my vote counts in this race.
"I've not liked Bilbray since he was on the San Diego city council in the late 80's/early 90's."
I thought Bilbray was down in Imperial Beach, outside SD City--was he a County Supervisor?
You ought to know. Seems to me you are guilty of the same charge. You, too, were unwilling to put up nor, as your posting record attests, shut up.

"Yup, as I suspected--you got caught supporting some fringey third or fourth party candidate, and the CAGOP stopped writing checks."
Yup, just as I suspected--you don't have any answers to the specific questions I asked you in #117.
Put up or shut up. And rest assured I can and will check out any specific answers you provide.

Followed by passing the full information package--including all of the data you will dig up about who I am and where I live--to some of your more violent friends, no doubt.
I've played this game before, and got knifed one evening for my trouble. Your violently emotional reaction told me everything I need to know about you.

Cite the specific "violently emotional reaction" you allege. There isn't any.
I must say it never occurred to me you would become hysterical when asked to backup your claims. Are you always this wussy, or is it fright night at the home? Get a grip.
Please don't faint on us.

I didn't yank your chain to begin with; you just felt the urge to insert yourself into the conversation and make all manner of demands for information that would identify me and my whereabouts. That's a pretty violent reaction in my book.
"I must say it never occurred to me you would become hysterical when asked to backup your claims."
Please post enough information about yourself that someone else can find you and arrange an ambush, and then tell me I'm being hysterical.

And you have the nerve to hurl insults at ElkGroveDan and calcowgirl? I think we have ID'd the hypocrite, and it isn't ElkGroveDan or calcowgirl.
Look in the mirror.
By the way - I think you're confused who is bashing Bush.
It's not Kaloogian.
Thanks czar. I notice BeyondThePale didn't take me up on my challenge to go ahead and LOOK, either. Kaloogian and Morrow both seem like decent guys, and on the surface, they don't have the taint that Bilbray has. If there is something there that makes K or M unfit, I'd certainly want to know that, too.
But I'm not bettin' my life, or my home, on ANY politician!
We all would.
But I'm not bettin' my life, or my home, on ANY politician!
An extremely wise policy...
"Issa and Dreier instead rally to get the GOP congressional delegation to endorse Bilbray!"
Issa endorsed Morrow.
Morrow has been my Assemblyman and Senator and having met with him personally a number of times he's been a lousy representative.
I'm not a big Issa fan.
What about this that was posted the other day?

I can't stand Issa but at least now there isn't anyone to take him out since Morrow is carpetebagging into the 50th.
I don't think Morrow is great but he would sure be better than "Hezbolla" Issa.
Why do we always seem to wind up in the "least worse" mode?
I've got my own problems, to wit: my congressman was Chris Cox who has now been replaced by John Campbell.
See what I mean?
BTTT for Kaloogian! If Tancredo likes him, I like him. I wish he was in my district, but I'm stuck with Jane Harman.
