......Black female caller said to all those listening that you cannot "depend on the State" to take care of you nor can you "depend on the company where you work" to take care of you......the black community needs to get "off the plantation" where the Democrats, Liberals whatever name tag you wish to give, have kept so many for so long.....

Thanks. That sure made my day.

Besides the quantum difference in making the plantation comment to a Black audience.

Montel was on Dayside yesterday morning (Fox) and they asked him what he thought. He also didn't like Mayor Nagin's comments about a Chocolate City... and the mayor called in and Montel told him his comments were insensitive

Interesting. . .and the 'Mayor' was watcihing Fox News channel. ..more interesting. . .

Apparently Nagin has gone there before and without much notice. . ."Nagin also said he has made the "chocolate" reference several times before, including before Congress."

These people make their living by giving life to the 'racism' they pretend to hate. . .they will not give it up. . .

Hillary is ugly.

How ugly?

Only woman that can walk down Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. at night and not get assaulted.

No one who would vote for Hillary will be upset by that statement. Heck, they will agree with her.

She's got "beaver card protection" to the google power, as far as the press is concerned and she's married to the "first black amreican president".

Move along!

Someone here on FR reported yesterday that Doug Brinkley was interviewed night before last and said Nagin has already had a couple of breakdowns since Kartina and is not stable... I didn't hear it and would actually like to read the transcript, but Brinkley is pretty reliable as far as NOLA is concerned.

Well, I do not doubt it. . .nothing like a 'good press; to keep it relatively quiet on his behalf.

Hilary assumed Bill's "black", as in the first black president, rubbed off on her. Alas, she is just a white Senator from New York.

Every once in a while, the real HELLary slips out. She is not a skilled politician. Her screech in Harlem proves it.

I bet she thought nobody would notice. If you look at the bored to tears faces of the people on the podium with her, Mark Green, Charles Baron, you can see she is not beloved even by this hard core Leftist group.

Not going nowhere---she better enjoy her few remaining moments in the spotlight.

A lot of blacks have quizzical looks on their faces after this moronic, faux pas. It was hilarious watching Chris Matthews, Andrea Greenspan & the 'attack-poodle'... David Gregory do the “Aww... no harm done” routine last night.

Quite the contrary, they were pooh-poohing it as 'harmless'... as in... “Move along... there's nothing here to see.”

THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT?bump

Why do you suppose the clintons and Landrieu -- through Mayor ('chocolate... You can't have New Orleans no other way') Nagin -- tried to get their voters back, post haste (no trouble bussing 'em straightaway and en masse when it's to the polls) -- to a still toxic morgue with no potable water, no emergency support and with renewed risk of deluge?

GONE WITH THE WIND
(miss hillary's 'plantation' blunder)

Calculating a black man's worth to be 5/3 of a vote is no less racist, and arguably more so, than calculating his worth to be 3/5 of a white man; the latter is demeaning, but the former is dehumanizing.

RE: a not-so-modest proposal concerning hillary clinton

Dear Concerned Americans,

Hillary Clinton's revisionist tome notwithstanding, 'living history' begets a certain symmetry. It is in that light that I make this not-so-modest proposal on this day, exactly 64 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The context of our concern today--regardless of political affiliation--is Iraq and The War on Terror, but the larger fear is that our democracy may not survive.

We have the requisite machines, power and know-how to defeat the enemy in Iraq and elsewhere, but do we have the will?

In particular, do we have the will to identify and defeat the enemy in our midst?

Answerable to no one, heir apparent in her own mind, self-serving in the extreme, Hillary Clinton incarnates this insidious new threat to our survival.

What we decide to do about Missus Clinton will tell us much about what awaits us in these perilous new times.
