Poll gives Kean 36% to Menendez's 25%, with 37% undecided.
That's a lot of undecided, but given that it's New Jersey, it certainly isn't anywhere close to decided
This race continues to look promising from a pick-up point of view.
they key here - is what Corzine does.
if Corzine goes through with the 20 cent gas tax increase, and other tax increases, the backlash will accrue to Kean (if he has even half a brain to not duck attacking Corzine, even though it has nothing to do with his senate race).
Whitman came very close to beating Bradley, because of the tax increases Florio put into place.
I will say this - my bet is that most people polled - think Tom Kean SR is the candidate.
You may be right, but a pick-up is a pick-up.
That's a lot of undecided
Very low name recognition..........40% hadn't heard of him.
indeed. hell, if the republicans were smart, maybe some of the ballots could be misprinted with SR instead or JR. its just a typo don't you know.
Anyone in the Kean campaign who might be interested in some good stuff I have on Menendez, reach out.
Good point.
given the history here with MD4Bush I don't think anyone is interested in the "good stuff" about mendenez.
