The show was August 7, 1988 in my hometown of Guilford, CT
My Dead Head buddies told me to meet them at the Fairgrounds and bring my deck, I need to check out this guy.
They were serious tapers, and I mean serious!
We set up a 12 foot mic stand next to the soundboard, using 2 Nakamichi 300 mics ( excellent) and used sony D-5 decks, patched in.
The recording is outstanding! As good as it gets for a field recording .Super will attest to that.
The show is excellent, really awesome playing.I heard a week later on the radio that Roy was dead...this is the Last Live Performance, and I am lucky enough to have it.
It would be a pleasure to share it with you---thats what I am all about.
