"Oh, let it burn, baby"!
"Laid back",LOL, he dozed slap off and hasn't woken up!
Fa fa fa fa fa,fa fa fa fa!
I did listen to it...and yes!
New, fresh and interesting...I like it.
I just started listening to EB, thanks to you and I like what I hear.
Do you have "live' shows by him and his band?
I would like to hear some of that...i can see/hear that he is VERY good.
I changed my hairstyle so many times, I don't know what I look like.
Actually, I have two "live" Eric Burdon CD's. One isn't any good at all. The other is called "House of the Rising Sun (Brentwood) and is live Animals music from some hall in England. This is a good one and the version here of "San Franciscan Nights" is far superior to the studio version. It is pretty darn good CD all the way through.
The 'Heads have a suprisingly huge following, especially considering their unconventional approach to music. I lov'em.
They're probably the most musically revolutionary sound since,I don't know, the Beatles.
Signe could blast out tunes like Its No Secret and Lets Get Together and have the house in an uproar.Grace sounded better on record than live.
Marty Balin had the best voice of any of the group.
What a version of "Take Me to the River" by Al Green!
And did you know that one of the back up singers on that tour for Stevie was Deniece Williams of Free and Lets Hear it for the Boy fame?.
She's now a gospel singer.
I hate to admit it,but I kinda liked them in their cheesy 70s Jefferson Starship incarnation. Is that worse than admitting to liking some Eagles music?
Ever hear the version of Take Me to the River by Syl Johnson?
I think that was the original.
I love it! And I love "And She Was",love that song. It's about a suicide,I've been told.
I've got plenty of stuff here, but you are going to have to learn to like some "studio" stuff. Believe me, some of it won't be a waste of your time. Live stuff, "Happy Trails" by Quicksilver and one live side of "Flowers of Evil" by Mountain should be of great interest to you. Or, at least it will be after you hear it.
No, why? Please elaborate.
No, I didn't, but I remember after the last song all of Stevie's band formed a Conga line and bopped around the stage.
