A homosexual man at my place of employment was fired for "Deliberate Malpractice," specifically, falsifying product documentation. Since the product in question was material which was destined to become nuclear fuel rods, it was covered by Federal regulations and could have been prosecuted as a felony.
However... against all expectations he was later reinstated. I heard afterward that the subject's testimony of post-termination "chest pains due to anxiety" had some influence on the appeal board's decision.
The guy's still around, and still whining.
I suspect his knowledge of the hidden sexual preferences of some on the board had something to do with their decision.
