If they are growing 70% of the poinsettias in the country, then it is a pretty good bet that anybody who buys them is contributing to the culture of death.

Ping!
I realize that some may think this is foolish, but it is very evident that money that Christians spend on poinsettias at Christmas is used to fund abortions.

Well, taking the poinsettias off my list for the future.
Interesting that old bird didn't abort his kids.

Bring this out again in November.

This is an easy boycott.

I always felt that the poinsettias surrounding my church's creche represented the slain children of Bethlehem...now I know why!

Don't they sound like a warm, loving family.
To: wagglebee
It's funny. I was raised thinking poinsettias were poisonous. Even though they were found to be safe, I still have never bought one. And now I never will. Thank you.

Check where they were grown. We have local growers in my area of Missouri and none are imported (not sure where WalMart gets theirs however).

I agree, I wish this information had been available in November or early December, it would have made a lot of difference in the amount of money this family has to pass on to the abortion mills.

I live 10 miles or so down the road from Encinitas, so the poinsettias here are probably from this exact farm. Sad.
