I mentioned to my sister the other night that I didn't like the fact that Nagin has played the race card since the storm. She argued that he hasn't. I told her about what Farakhan said and she didn't believe me.
Did Nagin ever comment on the claim Farakhan made that Nagin told him he had evidence that the government blew up the levees in order to protect the white people?

As to Nagin; he seems desperate to appeal to a base that is and should be. . .questioning his own merit. . .
Seeing the world as 'black or white' certainly is preferable to 'chocolate vs. vanilla'.
Mayor Nagin is just sickening.
Can you imagine the uproar if the mayor of another American city said they wanted it to be all vanillla again?

Can you just imagine the reaction to George Bush saying "God wants (fill in the blank) city to be white"? He'd be called "worse than Hitler," Impeachment proceedings would begin tomorrow, and he'd be out of office by Feb.
