You know, I really have no problem with people adding to their income on a cash basis; hell, I do it when I babysit or have a garage sale, etc. But to adopt begging from others as a "lifestyle" is just too much for me.
Especially when they're pulling in that kind of cash, pay no taxes at all and have kids to raise.
Have you read the book "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls? It a very interesting memoir by a woman who grew up with these type of hippy-bum parents. Her Mom is still homeless, living on the streets, though she's sitting on millions of dollars in land holdings. Go figure.
