Just found this kinda funny. Who does these studies???
"Honey, wanna have sex, or watch "Everybody Loves Raymond?"

Of course I guess it depends on WHAT you watch on TV...somehow watching "Roseanne" probably has a more detrimental effect than "Desperate Housewives..."

If we put TWO TVs in every school classroom, would it result in total teen abstinence?

#1) I refuse to have a television in the bedroom because the bedroom is supposed to be for husbands and wives...not to watch TV in!
#2) Italian sexologist made me giggle.
To: RockinRight
Which came first, the lack of sex, or the TV?

TV in the bedroom halves your sex life - study Half as often or half as long?
"Hurry up, Dear. The commercial's almost over."
To: aynrandfreak
Interesting question...
The idea is to cuddle up in the living room, watch a movie, then head up to the bedroom where there's no TV and entertain one another in more intimate ways...

I think I'll try getting rid of every TV in the house.

A single male parent with a seven year old daughter in the house completely eliminates a sex life. I'd be happy with what the folks with the TV in the bedroom are getting.
To: RockinRight
On the other hand, if you see a good commercial...

TV comes with a power switch. Unless it is the superbowl, show me a man that would choose a sitcom over sex.

I think it's the women watching Lifetime that is causing the problem. Women generally don't want sex after watching "The Golden Girls" or the movie of the week about the latest battered woman...
