Retiring now is a good idea. Get out so we can push for a real conservative to run in your place. Give the new guy a chance! Step aside for the good of the country.

"It's already been posted that he'll seek re-election."

I haven't read that since last year. Tomorrow, Tuesday, it's reported that he will announce his decision, unless you have a link to an update?

Thanks for saving us the trouble of dredging those up.

As for me, I'm just on pins n' needles awaiting this momentous, future-of-the-Republic-hinges-on-it decision.

Trent Lott; take a note, we know that you were instrumental in betraying the interest of the nation to the gang of 14. I haven't forgotten bit** and I will contribute all that I can to anyone who is running against you.

He can market and sell JellySpine on late night infomercials. No wait, there's already a market glut... Ok, how about doing jokes at birthday parties...

Gov. Barbour should oppose the good senator AND the road-kill he wears on top of his head.

Well, in the private sector he can earn a whole lot more money by betraying conservatives than he can doing it in the Senate.

Mornning G,
We all know "lotta nothin" retired way back as a conservative republican on active duty.

He refused to vote to impeach the POS klintoon, "you're not going to dump this mess on us."

Lotto-boy is all talk and no action. Basically, he has the senate retirement plan "million dollar lotto ticket punched already."

I agree with you, Ms. needs to elect a real "Conservative" with a spine to help take on the commie-crats.

As I See It,
NSNR-THM

get rid of lott, if the conservatives of mississippi can't find a worthy candidate to replace lott , they don't deserve the senate seat.

Morning M_F,
Lott looks like the main character (Propane Man) in King of The Hill, who was playing the role of a pimp in one of the shows.(Checked out his Brim)

He probably has been lining his pockets with that long green since being elected to the senate.(More Lucrative?????)

Cheerleading seems to fit his persona very well.

Saying What Needs To Be Said,

You assume than the person replacing him would be more conservative. I would like to know who that would be?? Also, Trent has an ACU rating in 2004 of 96 and a lifetime rating of 93. Not bad at all.

Good riddance...not an ideological bone in his body. Just a good ol' boy playing power games and raking in coin, at a time when the country is at war and has too many Democrat traitors on board. I hope he has the decency to go hide deeper in the South and just disappear.
