52 degrees here now. St. Pete weather is interesting, as we are on a peninsula between Tampa Bay and the Gulf. It seems to be several degrees warmer in the winter and a few degrees cooler in the summer than the our neighboring areas.

I hope it stays cool a little while longer. I'd like to get to use the fireplace once or twice!

How are things in Rat's Mouth? :-)

*grin*

I love explaining that name to visitors. Some residents try to tell me "Oh no, that's not what they meant!". My response is to explain the history of the pirates who used to use Lake Boca Raton (within the inlet) as a hideaway and such relevant history. I means exactly what it sounds like. Heh, heh...

I love it all the same, though. : )

Actually, in my view, Boca's getting much better. We've finally got several fine Brasilian stores here including a new "Padaria" where I can buy fresh "Pao De Quiejo" (cheese bread) without having to cook it or wake up in Brasil. I'm a regular there now, I just got back a little while ago with some hot bread for the wife and kids. That's when I saw the temperature - Yikes!

Did you folks get the amazing winds yesterday? We hit the PBC Fair yesterday and the winds were amazing. Kept the temperature in the high 60's. Today should be better, but I'm going to plant myself in front of the TV and watch the rest of the playoffs today, so no matter.

GO DENVER!
