I visited the States in 1997 and I was asked by a very Conservative/Republican Christian gentleman in Providence what my opinion of Bill Clinton and Tony Blair was. My answer was I would not buy a second hand car off either and I stick by that statement nearly 9 years later.

While I can't disagree, PM Blair has shown even amongst his greatest critics the support of the US war on terrorism. It was a pleasant surprise for many of us. We are grateful to him and the people of Great Britain.
