Yeah, but the problem is that the MSM is playing up all of Bush's negatives all the time and that's what most people see and hear.

"As the hearings showed, it turns out that it's pretty hard to derail the nomination of someone bright enough to belong on the Supreme Court by the merits. Let's hope that future presidents will follow Bush's example. If they do, America will be a better place for it. By the way, don't take my word on how smart, skilled, and judicious Judge Alito is. If you look (here), (here), (here) and (here). you'll find testimony from a large cohort of the judge's former law clerks, many of whom are conservative and many of whom are quite liberal. They all attest to his intellectual firepower and his innate sense of fairness, the two qualities you want most in a Supreme Court justice.
Great reads for truth about and the character of Judge Alito.

Let's continue the boxing format. These "leaders" are lying on the canvass, blood spurting from the dozens of cuts on their ugly faces, double vision and they manage to mumble "We're winning"!

"We've got him on the ropes," said one unnamed Democrat political strategist. "Alito's confirmation could be the knockout punch. When Bush is flat on his back like this, it's hard for Republican Congressional candidates to ride his coattails."Careful now, the moonbats at DU will be so ecstatic reading this article that they won't realize it's satire and may overload and blow out the DU website with their tacky-whacky woo-hooing and hi-fiving each other.
Unwashed teenagers and warmed over '60s hippies like those who populate DU shouldn't be allowed to run a website that demonstrates to the entire world how weird some Americans can become if they continue to live in their Mom's basement too long after flunking their college entrance exam.
BTW, do colleges still give those exams? It's been so long since I took mine I imagine they've come up with a better way by now to find out how much class time you slept through in high school.

Hil-arious, as usual. :)
I'd also like to point out the 15 million dollars the DNC wasted on their Anti-alito TV & radio ads this month.
Money well spent for our side. *Snicker*
