He really has become an embarrassment to the entire country. For the life of me, I can't see why he keeps getting re-elected. I'd vote for anyone over him. And it's scary he still has so much power (though he does seem to be losing some).

The best thing in the world for the Republicans was to have this disgusting display of Democrats televised. Republicans didn't need to buy expensive campaign ads to show the world the evil results of voting for scum like Kennedy, Schumer, and Leahy. That they would make such a big stink over a Princeton club that Judge Alito supported when fellow Democrat Robert Byrd was an officer in the KKK, is unbelievable. It almost seems that they are starring in a parody of themselves and don't know it. This may have been another Wellstone Memorial Moment for the Democrat Party, the results of which we will see in November.

More to the point, Sen. Rick Santorum declared, "The only way to restore the republic our Founders envisioned is to elevate honorable jurists like Samuel Alito." It's not just the fate of the court that hangs in the balance; it's the future of the Republic.

I hope and pray we finally turn the corner with Alito.

"Bay staters are Manchurian constituents"

LMAO!!! Kinda like down in my neck of the woods....those Manchurian 9th Warders who keep electing nincompoops, dumbasses and total incompetants to local and state offices.

Hey Ted, kill anyone lately?

His young staff who wrote his questions evidently are too young to remember that he killed Mary Jo, and he's so arrogant, he doesn't care that he killed her. He's on the level of Osama because he'd like to destroy anyone who doesn't agree with him.

He really has become an embarrassment

He is now breathing his own exhaust and the whole nation knows it.

Can Massachussettes figure that out? I doubt it.

Perhaps they are "Manchurian constituents,"

Funny line, but so true.

Teddy's problem is he is morally, ethically and intellectually
"stunted", his family background and early life experiences has left him incapable to work with people.

In Senate Judiciary Committee hearings this week, Kennedy actually asserted that the nominee's association with a conservative Princeton alumni group two decades ago should disqualify him from a seat on the High Court.

And it turns out the article that Kennedy used to invoke guilt by association was satire! It was humor! I understand that Rush Limbaugh has discussed this, but I sure hope it makes widespread news.

Kennedy can't tell satire from serious - and showed it in Senate hearings. LOL

[Ted Kennedy, the Democrat Party mascot, is a tone-deaf alien from a distant galaxy.

Kudos to Mark Alexander on his capturing the 'who and 'what' of Ted Kennedy. A man, whose boundless arrogance, too often, simply defies description. . .

The above is simply the best.

And it's scary he still has so much power (though he does seem to be losing some).

Kennedy thinks he has so much power, he's just one of hundred senators in a minority party.

"Swimmer" got under Snarlin Arlen RINO skin last week and was promptly put in his place.

After Teddy comes out of his drunken stupor, he might realize he is quickly becoming irrelevant.

> He has demonstrated that he's a strict constructionist who supports states' rights and thinks the First Amendment restricts only Congress when it comes to the Left's sacred (read: bogus) "wall of separation" between church and state. <

Let's hope he's NOT a Strict Constructionist, but an Originalist, like Scalia.

I hate to sound stupid, but what is the difference between a strict constructionist and an originalist.
